Editing a macro is a simple task. Just place the cursor on the desired macro line and make the changes. But finding the macro can be difficult, especially if there are several macros in the file. Rather than first finding
the module, then the macro; this article will show you how to jump directly
to macro in one simple process.
In Excel 97/2000 and future versions: 1. Click on Tools (in the menu) Macro Macros from within Excel 2. Click on the desired macro 3. Click on Edit Excel jumps to the selected macro ready for your viewing or editing If you are in the Visual Basic Editor, the steps are very similar: 1. Click on Tools (in the menu) Macros 2. Click on the desired macro 3. Click on Edit
In Excel 5 and Excel 7 (95): 1. Click on Tools (in the menu) Macro 2. Click on the desired macro 3. Click on Edit Excel jumps to the selected macro ready for your viewing or editing Comments: Many users think of the Edit
button (in the Macro dialog box) as a GoTo button. Remember,
this approach jumps directly to the desired macro without regard to the
module name.
