IMA Controller's Council Presentation August 23, 2006 These notes are for those who attended the Controller's Council presentation on August 23, 2006. We were rushed at the end and many of you have very specific questions that may not have been answered or need more discussion before a solution can be discussed. Please feel free to give me a call or email me. I will follow-up on the conversations as an extension of the presentation. (i.e. no charge). I do so to help you get pointed in the right direction and it help me better understand you needs, which makes future presentations better. My contact info is on the handout. Two of you had questions on imported or linking the financial statements to Word. I would ike to discuss this future. A couple of your were very interested in the tracking of user entries. This is very easy to set up, however, it most likely a bit too advanced to do on your own. However, the file will be on the website for your self-study. Addtionally, it must be tailored to your specific needs. I would like to discuss this further. Others had great questions, feel free to call. Beginning in late September or October, I will be doing these presentation on a regular basis at little or no charge. Each one will be different and cover just one or two topics in-depth. Watch the newsletters or contact me so I can follow-up directly with the announcement. |
